With many years experience, we can offer the correct floor for your individual needs. Based in Bournemouth, we are ideally placed for installation of industrial flooring in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and the Home Counties.
L&S Finishes are proud providers of both polyurethane and epoxy resin floor coatings for industrial flooring and are two of the more common types of floor coatings. Both finishes are renowned for their durability and flexibility.
Whether you require a fast return to service or you simply require a one-stop flooring solution that combines durability with ease of cleaning, a MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) flooring solution could be ideal for you.
Heavy-duty resin floor screeds provide a sealed and odourless hard-wearing flooring solution that is ideal for using in environments where hygiene is critical. Not only is it durable, but it is also easy to maintain and slip resistant too!
At L&S Finishes Ltd, we pride ourselves in the specification and installation of top-class resin floor and wall finishes.
With several decades of hands-on industry experience, Paul Seymour the director of L&S Finishes is actively involved in all projects, from quotation and specification through project management and final installation. All operatives have C.S.C.S. safety training cards and are trained to NVQ Level 2, which is the highest available qualification for in-situ resin floors.
Project Profile #12
Client: Finnemore Pavilion
Service: Fiberglass Reinforced Walls
Specification: 600m2 Block Wall
Location: Finnemore, Alton, Hampshire
With a new pavilion being built at Finnemore, the client was looking for a wall system that could be hosed down to remove all mud left after football and rugby practice.
L&S Finishes offered them a completely seamless fiber-glass reinforced resin coating system. Having a resin finish wall meant that the mud could easily be removed, and by having fiber-glass incorporated meant that the walls could be power washed without the coating flaking and coming off.
The considerations on this project were that the walls had to be hard wearing, easily cleanable on a regular basis and could withstand constant power-hosing down.
Why L&S Finishes?
We believe L&S Finishes Ltd, are completing more walling projects as the project solution offered always matches that particular job. Having finished this project we have had nothing but praise for the works, and can honestly say we exceeded their expectations.

Richmond Motor Company were building a new showroom and servicing/MOT area. As main dealers for Hyundai and Citroen, the build was a big expansion from their present showroom. To comply with the relevant regulations, they required yellow lines and hatchings around the two MOT bays.
As with most building projects of this size, there was a tight schedule for all work to be completed. We were given a few hours to complete, which we did successfully.
Why L&S Finishes?
We assured the customer we could finish all the work within this tight window and we completed the project over and above their expectations.

Client: Aspect Special Projects Ltd

Location: Gravenhurst, Bedfordshire
Aspect Special Projects Ltd, who specialise in design and build for both private and commercial customers, asked L&S Finishes to offer a suitable floor finish surrounding a swimming pool they were building, for a private client. We showed the customer several different floors, suitable for this environment, and they chose a quartz carpet. With its soft texture on bare feet, this material was everything the customer was looking for.
Being a private house with young children, there were many restrictions that had to be taken into consideration. All work needed to be completed during School hours and the site had to be kept clean and tidy at all times.
Why L&S Finishes?
L&S Finishes Ltd has built a very good working relationship with Aspect Special Projects Ltd. We have completed many contracts for them, from the current pool project to food factories and engineering establishments. Polyurethane Screed Flooring Installation for Shell Bay Seafood Restaurant
Project Profile #16
Client: Shell Bay Seafood Restaurant
Service: Seamless Hygienic floor
Specification: 66m2 Polyurethane Screed and 51 Linear meters of Cove
Location: Studland, Dorset
Shell Bay Seafood Restaurant in Studland is a very popular and busy restaurant, especially during the summertime with tourists. We had a small timeframe for this project which consisted of removing the existing vinyl, lay polyurethane screed and run covers around the perimeter of the floor.
The restaurant was shut down for business when we completed the flooring, the only special consideration was the time we had to complete the works – with the restaurant having a deadline date for its seasonal re-opening.
Why L&S Finishes?
One of the main reasons our company L&S Finishes was successful with this contract was our affordable charging policy, we only charge for bags of material used – and vinyl laid, the repairs could be limited to isolated areas of need.
Project Profile #7
Client: South Wales Fire & Rescue Service
Service: Polyurethane Screed
Specification: 200m2 Appliance Bay Floor
Location: Abergavenny Fire Station
Abergavenny Fire Station had quarry tiles on their appliance bay floor, a good majority of these were loose as well as being a major slip hazard when wet, because of health and safety and security issues the floor had to be completed in 3 sections to allow the appliances to be kept inside.
As a busy fire station, the main consideration throughout the installation was to ensure that the station was kept fully operational. Constant communication with the station master was key to making sure the firemen knew about any changes to their usual route of access to the appliances.
Why L&S Finishes?
Abergavenny fire station was the first contract that L&S Finishes have completed for South Wales Fire & Rescue Service. As a company, we exceeded their expectations and hope to be the first of many shouts for our service!
