With many years experience, we can offer the correct floor for your individual needs. Based in Bournemouth, we are ideally placed for installation of industrial flooring in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and the Home Counties.

L&S Finishes are proud providers of both polyurethane and epoxy resin floor coatings for industrial flooring and are two of the more common types of floor coatings. Both finishes are renowned for their durability and flexibility.

Whether you require a fast return to service or you simply require a one-stop flooring solution that combines durability with ease of cleaning, a MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) flooring solution could be ideal for you.

Heavy-duty resin floor screeds provide a sealed and odourless hard-wearing flooring solution that is ideal for using in environments where hygiene is critical. Not only is it durable, but it is also easy to maintain and slip resistant too!
At L&S Finishes Ltd, we pride ourselves in the specification and installation of top-class resin floor and wall finishes.
With several decades of hands-on industry experience, Paul Seymour the director of L&S Finishes is actively involved in all projects, from quotation and specification through project management and final installation. All operatives have C.S.C.S. safety training cards and are trained to NVQ Level 2, which is the highest available qualification for in-situ resin floors.

An extremely busy food manufacturing plant in Wolverhampton had a problem with a stair case that had recently just been coated by another contractor, a couple of people has slipped on the stairs as there was no anti-slip incorporated within the coating, also Health & safety regulations state that the nosings of the stairs should be a different colour.
L & S Finishes were asked to re-do the stairs to ensure these problems were sorted, being a 24 hour 7 day a week operating factory we has to comply with all their dress code etc whilst completing the works, as food production was all around us lack of dust and mess etc was essential. We recommended a 9mm polyurethane screed on the stairs with different colour nosings. We have now done 2 of these stair cases for the customer.
This sculptor making company makes garden sculptures for customers all over the world, L & S Finishes were asked to coat their new manufacturing unit prior to them moving into it.
A two coat high build coating system was used with walkways and yellow lines installed, We are waiting for them to move into this building before we do the same to their existing manufacturing unit for them.
L & S Finishes completed a Loading Bay/Re-cycling area for an engineering company in Cirencester, we have done works here for over 20 years. The floor coating needed to be anti-slip as fork lift trucks were coming from the outside, another major consideration was that the rest of the extremely busy factory had to continue to function.
The customer required walkways and hatchings applied around the machinery, all works were completed on time and as with all the other works we have completed here the customer was more than happy with the result.
Project Profile #13
Service: Polyaspartic High Build Coating
Specification: 790m2 Cold Store Floor Coating
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Installation Overview:
We were asked to coat a cold store floor for our client in Cambridgeshire and given a weekend in which to complete the project. The small time-frame and low temperature of the room meant that we couldn't use normal high build coating, so recommended Polyaspartic high build coating instead, due to its rapid drying times.
Special Considerations:
The considerations for this project were that the room was at a constant temperature of between 5 and 6 degrees and needed to be completed over a weekend. We were therefore unable to use normal high build coating because of the over-coating time, so used Polyaspartic high build coating from KDR Resins which dried within the hour, allowing our client to resume work as usual on the Monday.
Why L&S Finishes?
Despite the conditions and short time-frame, we were able to deliver an effective and attractive floor coating which allowed the client to get back to work as quickly as possible. As a company, we exceed expectations and always meet you company's requirements!
Project Profile #12
Client: Finnemore Pavilion
Service: Fiberglass Reinforced Walls
Specification: 600m2 Block Wall
Location: Finnemore, Alton, Hampshire
Installation Overview:
With a new pavilion being built at Finnemore, the client was looking for a wall system that could be hosed down to remove all mud left after football and rugby practice.
L&S Finishes offered them a completely seamless fiber-glass reinforced resin coating system. Having a resin finish wall meant that the mud could easily be removed, and by having fiber-glass incorporated meant that the walls could be power washed without the coating flaking and coming off.
Special Considerations:
The considerations on this project were that the walls had to be hard wearing, easily cleanable on a regular basis and could withstand constant power-hosing down.
Why L&S Finishes?
We believe L&S Finishes Ltd, are completing more walling projects as the project solution offered always matches that particular job. Having finished this project we have had nothing but praise for the works, and can honestly say we exceeded their expectations.
This service is ideal to renovate any old or badly damaged floor in the quickest time possible. They are quick drying and can allow foot traffic within a few hours and can be ready to receive vehicle traffic within 24 hours.
Pump screeds can be laid to a thickness of between 6mm to 20mm.
Heavy duty floor screeds are trowel applied at typical depths of between 6mm and 9mm. The material contains aggregates and offers an impervious, extremely chemical and abrasive resistant finish. When the Resin Floor Screed is installed at a depth of 9mm they can be steam cleaned making them ideal for kitchens, breweries, and throughout the food industry.
